HENKLE W. BOYD - WILL
I Henkle W. Boyd being of sound and disposing mind, do hereby make,
Publish and declare this to be my last will and testament; hereby revoking all wills by me at any
time heretofore made. First: I desire all my just debts to be paid. Second: I give, devise and bequeath
to my son, Robert E. Boyd, my
Chevrolet truck. Third: I give, devise and bequeath the sum of one thousand dollars,
($1,000.00) to Audrey and Thomas Dorton. Fourth: I desire that the buildings
erected by me on this property be left on the farm for Mr. John C. Blackburn, better known as “Jack.” Fifth: I desire the remainder
of my property - personal or mixed be put up for sale within a year after my death. This shall
not include the thirteen cattle owned by Mr. Jack Blackburn at
this date. This number could vary between now and the time of my death. The money from this sale
shall be divided equally among my children; Maynard Boyd, Lena Boyd Luttrell, Robert E. Boyd
and Mary Boyd Shryock. Sixth: I appoint Robert E. Boyd executor of this my last
will and testament, and I direct that no security be required of him as executor on his bond as
such.

The above signature of the testator was made and the foregoing will was acknowledged to be his
last will and testament by the said testator, in the presence of us, two competent witnesses, present
at the same time; and we, the said witnesses, do hereunto subscribe the said will on the date last
above written, in the presence of said testator and of each other, at the request of the said testator
who was then of sound mind and over the age of twenty-one years.

In the Circuit Clerk’s Office of Frederick County, Virginia:
On this 8th day of April, 1976, a writing bearing date of 14th day of October, 1970, purporting to be the true, last will and testament of
Henkle W. Boyd, deceased, was produced before the Clerk and the 2 witnesses, ___ Clyde B. Mauck and Percy
E. Malone, both being deceased, Betty H. Carroll appeared
and swore to the signature of Claude B. Mauck and Frances M. Ballenger swore to
the signature of Percy E. Malone. All of the said facts being duly proved;
and on the motion of Robert E. Boyd the said writing was admitted to probate as and for the true, last will and
testament of Henkle W. Boyd, deceased, and it is ordered to be recorded. On
motion of Robert E. Boyd
the Executor therein named he is hereby appointed Executor of said
will; whereupon he qualified by entering into and acknowledging bond in the
penalty of $26,000.00 with no surety required as directed in will The said
Robert E. Boyd taking the prescribed oath to faithfully discharge his duties as said Executor. On the further motion of the said
Robert E. Boyd An inventory is to be filed on his estate.
