Mary Boyd ~  Alexander  Hindman

? Chester Co; PA

Looking for a Mary Boyd who married Alexander Hindman, probably ca. 1765, probably in Chester Co. PA. Alexander Hindman is found in the 1765 inhabitants of Chester Co. PA, as "inmate" in the home of a Robert Hindman in W. Nottingham Twp. At that point, he may or may not be married, but we suspect he was married by the time he moved to Augusta/ Rockbridge VA where he purchased land on Walkers Creek in 1768. Alexander's 1805 will in Adair Co. KY mentions wife Mary. Their daughter, Jane Hindman Coffey, recorded in her bible that Mary was Mary Boyd. Guessing Mary was born about 1745.
