John A. Boyd ~ Margaret Anderson

Fawn Township, York Co; PA

John A. Boyd son of Dr. Thomas Boyd, of Lancaster County, Penn., was
born January 5, 1811, in Fawn Township, where he has since lived, with the exception of three years, which he spent in Harford County, Md.  His father died in 1836.  In 1861 Mr. Boyd was married to Margaret Anderson, daughter of Nathaniel Anderson, of York County, Penn. Mr. Boyd moved to his present farm of 116 acres with his parents in 1824, and at the death of his father inherited the farm, and has lived on it ever since.
