Minerva Jane Boyd ~ Daniel P. McGregor

 

Tuscarawas County, Ohio

 


 

Daniel P. McGregor, farmer and stock-raiser, P.O. New Cumberland, was 
born December 5, 1835 in Warren Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, and 
obtained his education in the school at New Cumberland. He was united in  marriage, March 6, 1862 with MINERVA JANE BOYD, also a native of this 
township. To this union were born eight children, six of whom are living Elliott, Maud, Edith, S. Brice, Eleanor and Ralph. Mr. McGregor owns a finely improved and well stocked farm of 140 acres, a part of the old homestead. He devotes a great deal of his attention to the cultivation and training of fine stock. He owns several head of fine blooded stock, both horses and cattle. He and his wife are members of the Presbyterian Church. Mr. McGregor is a Democrat in politics.
