John Boyd, born in Ireland, died 1832, married 2nd ____ McMillan; immigrated to America about 1812 and settled in Freeport Township, Harrison county, Ohio, had issue: (1) Samuel Boyd (2) William Boyd, born 1798, died April 12, 1867, married abt 1864 Anne White, born in Ireland 1802, died at Freeport Jan 7, 1879 had issue: (1) John Boyd, married Sarah Fulton; (2) Hannah Boyd married William Williams; (3) George Boyd, born 1827, married Eliza Vail Markee, daughter of William and Hannah Morris Vail; (4) Sarah Boyd, died young; (5) Eliza Boyd married William Fulton; (6) Mary Boyd, married James Fulton; (7) Margaret Boyd, married ____ Likes; (8) Belinda Boyd, married James Carr; (9) William Boyd, married Mary Phillips; (10) Martha Boyd married R. Niblick; (11) Melancthon Boyd, died young.
