Obituary: John R. Boyd, Flint, MI

John R. BOYD - Of Flint, age 38, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Visitation 7- 9PM Tuesday at the funeral home. John was born in Flint, Michigan on May 21, 1963 and was a lifelong area resident. John was a 1985 graduate of Michigan State University and also the University of Michigan in Flint. He loved to read, was an excellent writer and also enjoyed music and animals. John was a loving father, son and brother. He was kind and generous. Surviving are his parents, Robert and Patricia Boyd of Flint; son, Robert James Boyd of Burton; brother, Michael W. and wife Lisa Boyd of Montrose; 2 nieces, Laura and Emily.
