Sarah Boyd ~ James Stafford Warren
County, Iowa
James Stafford, retired merchant; was born in Highland county, Ohio,
December 27, 1810; he was raised a farmer, and lived in Ohio until his
removal to this county in 1855; he engaged in in selling goods in Sandyville twenty years, and dealt to some extent in stock; he owns 430 acres of land; he has held various township offices, and held the office of postmaster eighteen years, and township clerk seventeen years; in 1875 he sold out his business in Sandyville and moved to Indianola; he married Miss Sarah Boyd in 1854; she was born in Baltimore, Maryland.
