Lucinda Boyd ~ John K. Wright Randolph Co; Illinois JOHN K. WRIGHT was born in 1824 in the southwest corner of VA, the eldest of 12 children born to Stephen Wright and Margaret Kelley, being of German and Irish ancestry. The family lived in Prebble County, OH until 1843 when they migrated to Randolph County where Stephen Wright had acquired farm land eight years previous. In 1848 John K. Wright married LUCINDA BOYD who was a native of Randolph County. Of eleven children, eight survived to adulthood including Elizabeth B., Margaret Ann, William K., George Washington, James Andrew Jackson, John W., Joseph Luther, and Ida Clementine (1875).
