Louisa Boyd

 Santa Ana, California

My mother has a box of several hundred pictures of her aunt Myrtle PONDER HOLLAND's family. When Aunt Myrtle died, her husband, Curtis Dee HOLLAND, married Leadie SHERWOOD. Curtis Dee HOLLAND died a number of years ago and just before Leadie died she gave Aunt Myrtle's pictures to mother. Also in the box in good condition are letters and notes. Mother would like these treasures to go back to someone in Aunt Myrtle's family.
-- One letter is from Louisa BOYD, dated December 3, 1963, Santa Ana, California. She mentions Troy, Reg, Fay, Norma, and Mrs. BOYD. I believe Mrs. BOYD was in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

-- Letter dated 1966 mentions Troy, Norma, Paul, and Gladys.
-- Letter dated June 21, 1965 from Mrs. Cecil HICKS, 203 W. 13th St., Rector, Arkansas, to Myrtle HOLLAND. 914 S. Main St., Shamrock, Texas. She mentions the death of Carolyn and that she is buried at Woodland Heights Cemetery just outside of Rector, Arkansas. Other names mention are Betty, Wilma, Louisa, Howard, Victoria PONDER, and Will SIMS.

-- Note listing the death dates and times of Little Bobby April 27, 1963, Little Chippy May 4, 1963, Little Donny Feb. 3 1971, and Little Baby July 2, 1965.

-- Birth of Stephen Lee BLYTHE, parents Nancy and Roger BLYTHE, P.O. Box 102, Anadarko, Oklahoma -- 8 x 10 graduation picture of a boy in cap and gown. On the neck of the gown it has National Honor Society, taken by Settle Studio of Photograph, Anadarko, Oklahoma.

-- Picture of tombstone for Sam ISAACS, 1902 – 1950. There are too many pictures to list. Some are identified and some are not. I will list some of the names on the pictures in the hope that someone will recognize this family, so the photos will go back to Aunt Myrtle's family where they belong:
HOLLAND, BOYD, WRIGHT, ABBOTT, GONZALES, HARKINS, HUGH, PHILLIPS, SMITH, WILKINS, JOSHLIN, LAHMAN, SIMS, ROGER, BLITHCH, JACKSON, YOUNG, FELTON, and PONDER.

Maybe someone from the Troy and Louisa BOYD family could contact me. There seem to be a lot of pictures from that family. I believe that Myrtle HOLLAND and Louisa BOYD were sisters and their maiden name was PONDER.
Please contact me if you know this family.
