               T. F. Boyd Passes to Great Beyond

T.F. Boyd, who moved here from Pocahontas beat about a month ago, died at his home one mile south of Oneonta Tuesday night. Mr. Boyd had been in failing health since last September but was able to be up until about a week ago.

His death was due to a complication of diseases. He was about 49 years of age, a devoted member of the M. E. church and was a great Sunday school worker. He was a good citizen and had many noble traits of character that will be cherished by his loved ones. He is survived by a wife and seven children four sons and three daughters, one of whom is Mrs. S. M. Hendricks, wife of the rural mail carrier on route 2, Oneonta.
The funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon by Rev. S. S. Owen, the interment taking place at Oak Hill cemetery.
