Erected / by / JANET BOYD / in memory of / her husband WILLIAM BOYD / who died / 15th March 1879 aged 61 years / and their daughter / Agnes, wife of Robert ALLAN / who died at Providence, Rhode Island / 27th Novr. 1873 aged 23 years / Her daughter Jessie died 1st Jany. 1874 / aged 6 months / Also their daughter / JEANNIE, wife of Robert Grieg / who died 18th June 1875 aged 27 years / Her son William died 9th March 1875 / aged 6 months / The said Janet Boyd died 11th March 1880 aged 58 years / Adieu then dear departed ones / we ne'er shall meet below / but may we meet in that bright land / where no more tears shall flow.
